Only 3 percent of the people living in Palermo and 5 percent of those in Naples consider that it is easy to find a job in their city. The Italian towns have the lowest figures among the 83 European cities included in the perception survey carried out by the European Commission. At the other end of the table, 72 percent of the respondents in Prague agreed that it is easy to find an employment for them.
The survey was carried out in 2015 and released in March 2018 . It includes almost 50 parameters, on topics such as pollution, cost of living, usage of public transport and affordability of the housing market.
Overall, Istanbul, Palermo, and Athens are the cities with the highest level of dissatisfaction. A third of their inhabitants are not comfortable living there. Oslo, Zürich, Aalborg, Vilnius and Belfast stand out as those with the highest levels of satisfaction, over 98 percent.
