Survey of companies in Europe – Eurofound
A survey of companies in Europe is published every four years by Eurofound. The goal of the survey is to map business practices so that they can be compared on a common basis, analysing their consequences – especially in terms of social dialogue – and monitoring key trends.
This survey is based on a questionnaire from a representative sample of human resources managers and worker representatives. It now covers 32 countries (compared to 21 at its first edition in 2004). A dozen sector fact sheets are available, whether in the construction sector, health, transport or industry. They provide an overview of companies active in Europe (size, duration of activity) and the profile of their employees (seniority, diplomas, working hours, participation …).
