Share of energy from renewable sources

Every year since 2004, Eurostat publishes the data on how much energy comes from renewable sources. It is a sustainable development indicator (SDI). With this indicator, it is possible to monitor how the 28 member States are doing in regards to their commitments for the European strategy for 2020.

The data can be downloaded in different formats (pdf, csv, html, xls, etc.).
