Green finance (IDFC)
The 23 largest national and regional development banks grouped within the International Development Finance Club (IDFC) have been publishing an annual “Green Finance Mapping ” every year since 2015.
The report examines the financing granted by each bank in order to reduce greenhouse gas emissions or to adapt to climate change by region, their evolution over time, and the type of instruments they mobilize (loans on favourable or unfavourable terms, grants, etc.). No less than six European banks are members of this club, including the French Development Agency (AFD), the German Development Bank (KfW) and the Black Sea Development Bank (BSTBD).
