Country risk assessment map by Coface
Each year, the credit insurer Coface publishes a mapping of country risk assessments around the world .
161 countries have been scrutinized and their situation assessed against various macroeconomic indicators and with an understanding of the local business climate (regulatory environment, political climate, etc.). For its 2019 edition, Angola, Canada and Montenegro are rated as “in improvement”, while the situation in Lebanon is deteriorating.
All countries are classified from A1 (Germany, Norway…) to E (Venezuela, Sudan, Iran…) according to the risk of non-payment by companies.
