Carbon impact of electricity production (Tomorrow)

Have you always wanted to know the impact of your electricity consumption on greenhouse gas emissions? This is now possible thanks to the “ElectricityMap” map designed by the start-up Tomorrow .

With a few clicks, you can identify the carbon impact of electricity production (expressed in grams of CO2 per kWh produced) in a country or region (Italy, for example, is divided into four zones). Updated in real time, the map also provides information on the composition of the electricity mix for the region concerned: mainly nuclear for France, hydraulic for Norway or highly dependent on coal for Poland.
