Budgets for judicial systems
Created in September 2002 by the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe, this commission proposes concrete solutions that can be used by Council of Europe member states.
The report entitled “European judicial systems, Efficiency and quality of justice” focuses in particular on the budgets allocated to courts, prosecutors’ offices and legal aid, which together constitute the legal system. Data collection is based on reports from States and entities that have been invited to designate national correspondents.
