Arms in South-Eastern and Eastern Europe (SEESAC)
The South Eastern and Eastern Europe Clearinghouse for the Control of Small Arms and Light Weapons (SEESAC) is an organization working under the mandate of United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), devoted to control and reduce the proliferation and misuse of small arms and light weapons in the region.
The organization publishes various documents regarding issues such as the proliferation of Small Arms and Light Weapons (SALW) and armed violence in South-Eastern Europe, as well as reports on regional arms exports . The data are published either in downloadable PDF reports or they can be accessed online on browser, in English as well as in the languages of the countries concerned.
SEESAC also runs “Gender and small arms ”, a project intended to collect data and look into gender differences on issues related to light weapons, security and armed violence.
