Structural investment funds (Open Knowledge)

A project by Open Knowledge, Subsidy Stories collects the available data on the beneficiaries of the EU structural investment funds (ERDF, ESF, CF), which constitute a large share of the EU budget and the backbone of its regional policy.

The database makes it possible to trace the flow of funds from the EU level up to the local beneficiaries. Data are available for the 2007-2013 and 2014-2020 funding periods but are not automatically updated. Some data are missing due to delays or gaps in publication by the states, and most data are scraped – so they may contain some errors.

The platform includes excellent tools to browse, search and use the database.
